For travelers who are not Indian passport holders, Nepal offers the convenience of a visa on arrival at Kathmandu International Airport. Alternatively, non-Indian passport holders can apply for a Nepal entry visa online before arriving, which helps streamline the immigration process and reduces waiting time at the airport.

Ensuring that travelers carry the appropriate documents will help facilitate a smooth and hassle-free journey to Nepal.

China Group Travel Visa for Tibet

NRI passport holders are advised to apply for a Chinese tourist visa in their country of origin.

However, we can assist with visa facilitation in Kathmandu, provided they arrive at least 3–4 working days before their scheduled departure.

Today, we'll take a tour of a few well-known Hindu temples in the Kathmandu Valley. We will visit the Pashupathinath, Gujeshwari Shakthipeeth, and Jalnarayan Temple. Morning after breakfast make any last-minute preparations for the Kailash yatra, as we will be heading to Nepalgunj later in the day. After having our lunch, we will drive to the domestic terminal at the airport and catch a flight to Nepalgunj. Overnight stay at a hotel in Nepalgunj.   (Lucknow to Lucknow)   Arrive at Lucknow pick up and drive from Lucknow to arrival at Nepalgunj. Night halt Nepalgunj (join the group)   Altitude: 150m Meals: B, L, D Distance: 30 minutes flight Drive : 4 to 5 hrs from Lucknow to Nepalgunj  

Day 04: Nepalgunj – Simikot – Hilsa – Taklakot

We take an hour-long early-morning flight to the Simikot village. After that, we begin our journey in a specially-chartered helicopter that will take us to the neighbouring village of Hilsa, where the river Karnali enters the mountain ranges on its way down to the Ganges after leaving the  Tibetan Plateau. After crossing the friendship bride and Nepal  Immigration.   We will enter into Tiber and complete the immigration process in the Tibet side and drive to Taklakot Approx  60 kilometres Overnight in Taklakot.   Altitude: 3900m Meals: B, L, D Distance: 1 hour (Nepalgunj – Simikot Flight) 20 minutes (Helicopter Flight (Simikot – Hilsa) 2 hours (Hilsa – Taklakot)

Breakfast: Begin the day with a nourishing breakfast before setting out on the journey.   Travel to Rakshas Tal: Stop at Rakshas Tal, known for its serene beauty. This lake, also called "Lake of the Demon" or "Ravana Tal," is believed to have been created by Ravana during his meditation on Lord Shiva to gain divine abilities. The lake contains salt water and is considered poisonous by locals. Proceed to Mansarovar Lake: Continue the journey toward the sun-shaped Mansarovar Lake, which is said to overflow into Rakshas Tal. This sacred lake, located at an altitude of 4,560 meters above sea level, holds immense spiritual significance across religions.   Mansarovar Kora: Drive around the Mansarovar Lake, a revered pilgrimage route encircling a sacred lake, while lunch is being prepared. Overnight Stay: Spend the night in Mansarovar, immersing in the tranquil and spiritual atmosphere of the sacred lake.   Altitude: 4560m Meals: B, L, D Distance: 86 km – 2 hours Manasarovar Lake Parikrama – 95 Km – 3 hrs

Spiritual Rituals: Begin the day by immersing in the spiritual experience at the holy Mansarovar Lake, performing puja (rituals) and prayers at its sacred banks. Holy Water Bath: Each yatri (pilgrim) will receive a bucket of hot holy water from Mansarovar Lake for a purifying bath, provided by our staff. Journey to Darchen: Proceed towards Darchen, the base camp of Mount Kailash, located right in front of this sacred mountain. Overnight Stay: Rest and prepare for the next phase of the pilgrimage with a stay at a hotel in Darchen.   Note:- Night View of Lake Mansarovar Experiencing the night view of Lake Mansarovar under the stars is truly breathtaking and completely safe. However, it is recommended to visit in a small group and, if possible, have your Sherpa guide accompany you for assistance. For a comfortable and secure experience, remember to: - Dress warmly to withstand the cold temperatures. - Carry a torch for visibility. - Bring a walking stick for stability on uneven terrain. Enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of this sacred lake under the starry sky!.   Important Note Please be aware that taking a holy dip in Mansarovar Lake is no longer permitted and has been classified as an offense by the Chinese government. To honor the traditions respectfully, pilgrims should request our Sherpa guides to collect holy water from the lake in a bucket. This will allow you to perform puja and take a ritual bath on the shore while adhering to the regulations.   Altitude: 4590m Meals: B, L, D Distance: 50 km – 1 hours (Manasarovar to Darchen)

Darchen to Dirapuk   The journey begins in Darchen, a small town at the foot of Mount Kailash. From here, pilgrims embark on a 13 km trek to Dirapuk, the first stop along the Parikrama route. The trail features a gradual ascent over rocky terrain and scenic meadows, unveiling breathtaking views of Mount Kailash with each step.   Along the way, trekkers pass a few monasteries and join fellow pilgrims walking the same spiritual path. The first day’s trek is relatively manageable, helping travellers acclimatize to the increasing altitude. The journey concludes at Dirapuk, a tranquil village at around 5,000 meters, where pilgrims take time to rest and prepare for the more challenging 2nd day Parikrama ahead.   Altitude: 5000m Meals: B, L, D Distance: 13km – 0.5 hours (Darchen to Tarboche Valley) 12km : 5-6 hrs (Yamadwar to Dirapuk)

This is the most physically demanding yet spiritually profound day of the Parikrama. Covering a distance of 22 kilometers, the route includes the Dolma La Pass, standing at 5,630 meters—the highest point of the entire journey.   Early Start: Pilgrims begin the trek at dawn to ensure they cross Dolma La before afternoon weather changes. Challenging Ascent: The climb is steep and strenuous, requiring immense strength and determination to push through the thin air at high altitudes. Sacred Shrines: Along the way, numerous holy shrines dedicated to various deities offer moments for prayer and reflection, deepening the spiritual significance of the trek. Spiritual Awakening: Reaching Dolma La Pass marks a powerful transformation, a crossing into an even deeper state of awakening for many pilgrims. Descent to Zutulpuk: After the pass, the trail descends—offering some relief but requiring caution. The rocky and uneven terrain makes it essential to watch every step carefully. Rest at Zutulpuk: At 4,790 meters, Zutulpuk serves as a vital resting point where trekkers recover from the day's strenuous journey before continuing onward..   Altitude: 5,630m Meals: B, L, D Distance: 22km: 8-9 hours (Dirapuk to Zhuthulpuk)   Important Notice Our crew will provide hot drinkable water and packed snacks for lunch in the morning. Please ensure you carry them for your journey.   Important Notice Pilgrims who choose to adjust their schedule at Dirapuk and return to Darchen must cover all additional expenses independently. This includes hotel accommodation in Darchen, food, transport, and other related costs.

Breakfast will be served near the guesthouse/camp and one can enjoy the morning time in exploring the caves, visiting the temples and shrine built around. The final stretch of the journey takes pilgrims on a 10-kilometer descent back to Darchen, marking the completion of the Kailash Parikrama. After two days of challenging trekking, reaching Darchen brings a deep sense of accomplishment and spiritual fulfilment.   Before concluding the sacred Kailash Manasarovar Yatra, a climb up to the caves offers a rewarding experience. After a 6-kilometer trek lasting approximately 2-3 hours, pilgrims reach the final destination near Chongdo, where waiting vehicles ensure a smooth transition. A 6-kilometer drive takes travellers back to Darchen.   Upon arriving in Darchen, travellers take time to reflect on their spiritual journey and celebrate the profound experience. After a brief rest and fresh n up we will complete our lunch before heading back to Taklakot.   If time permits we will exit after completion of immigration and cross the border to Hilsa. Hotel overnight stay.     Altitude: 4575 mm Meals: B, L, D Distance: 105 km – 3 hours   Important Travel Advisory   The Hilsa-Simikot-Nepalgunj air sector is highly weather-dependent, and delays, rescheduling, or flight interruptions are common. Pilgrims should be prepared for unforeseen changes in travel plans. Limited Facilities in Hilsa: In case of delays or flight rescheduling, travellers may find themselves stranded in Hilsa, where accommodations are basic and facilities are limited. Older travellers and those with health concerns are advised to remain with the group to ensure assistance is available if needed. Additional Stay & Costs: Extended stays in Hilsa, Simikot, or Nepalgunj due to flight delays are not included in the package. Any extra accommodations or food expenses must be paid directly to the Nepalese team by travellers.   No Refunds for Unutilized Services: Refunds or adjustments are not applicable for any unused accommodations, meals, or services due to travel interruptions.   Medical Assistance: While first aid facilities are available, any additional medical expenses, hospitalization, or emergency evacuation costs must be covered by the pilgrim/traveller.   Hotel Stay in Nepalgunj: Upon returning from the trip, hotel accommodation in Nepalgunj is not included in the package. If required, this will be charged separately.

Morning Departure: After an early breakfast, begin a 45-kilometer drive toward the China-Nepal border. Border Crossing: Complete immigration formalities, then cross the border on foot, arriving at Hilsa (Nepal side). Flight Transfers: Board a 25-minute helicopter flight to Simikot, followed by a connecting flight to Nepalgunj. Drive to Lucknow: Upon reaching Nepalgunj, continue with a drive to Lucknow for onward connections. Timing Considerations: If all flight connections proceed as scheduled, arrival in Lucknow will be by evening. However, in case of delays or rescheduling, additional stays at previous destinations may be required while awaiting the next available flight.   Reach Lucknow for our final departure or take a flight to Kathmandu for an overnight stay.   Meals: B, L, D Max.
